2022 AP Art Portfolio

This senior year portfolio received a 5 on the AP art "exam." My goal for this project was to explore the idea of "perspective" and what this can mean through art. I began by creating art pieces mainly with acrylic paint, but branched out to other mediums, such as oil pastels, graphite, and mixed media. The question that guided me was "How can I use unique perspectives to communicate a story to the viewer?" In some works I portray the viewer as the subject, using the art piece as a looking glass. In others I took a more metaphorical approach and explored expressing the subject's emotion.
